#HOTD | Lazy Day Bun

My HOTD (Hair of the Day) today is a slightly messy bun with a pink bow clip on top. This is my go-to hairstyle when I'm having a lazy day or I just need a quick hair style that is simple and out of my face. I achieved this style by simply putting my hair is a high ponytail, wrapping it around the base and clipping the tip of the hair in place with a pink bow clip.

What's your lazy day hairstyle?

Review | Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner

Hi there guys! I have been really wanting to try out loads of products that bloggers rave about but haven't had the time or the funds lately. Finally, I have been able to purchase a product that I (shamefully) never use but has definitely been an essential piece in my make up routine within the last month that I have owned it. This product is Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner.

I, unfortunately, have not had any luck in the past with liquid eyeliner but after trying Eyeko London Skinny Liquid Eyeliner I have been pleasantly surprised at how great it is. The pen-like tip makes the application process easy peasy and, once on, it doesn't transfer or smudge which is an important factor I have been looking for in the many liquid eyeliners that I have tried but decided not to wear in public! It's great for everyday and on a night out. It definitely lasts! I recommend giving it a try.

What do you think?

See you soon guys!

March Favourites

Most of my beauty March favourites are the same a my February favourites so I thought I might make this post entertainment centered because I have been enjoying some different programmes and apps that I'd like to share with you.
Okay, so first up is my new obsession, Don't Tell The Bride. This programme has been on for a while but recently I have been watching it all the time! I don't know why I love it so much, maybe I just love the idea of a wedding!

Although this game is super annoying and makes me want to throw my phone at the wall, Flappy Bird is also super addictive! Trying to get past your high score is the aim of the game and, trust me, it looks simple but it's the most difficult, frustrating game ever!

My favourite programme at the moment is definitely One Born Every Minute. It's so lovely to see those little lives being born into the world. It might be enough to put you off of childbirth though!

Last but not least, my favourite book of the month is definitely Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare! I wont tell you too much about it incase you want to read it yourself but after reading the Mortal Instruments I definitely had to read the prequel, the Infernal Devices! I'm halfway through reading it at the moment but is just gets better the more I read! If you're into fantasy books I'd recommend you try this book!

So these are my March Favourites. Let me know what you think!

See you guys soon!

Weight Loss Wednesday #3

Here's my Weight Loss Wednesday post (although a bit late!). I apologize for being naughty and missing the last WLW, I can explain. I was a very busy girl as I have just started a new job so the diet was put on hold while I settled down and got into a routine. I put on a couple of pounds but in the week that my diet has restarted I have lost some of the weight I gained so I'm getting there!

In my weigh in this morning I have put on 1 1/2 lbs bringing my total weight loss to 1 1/2 lbs.

My focus next week is to cut down my portion size. My new motto it 'little and often'. I think its better to eat snacks or small portions of healthy foods regularly rather than eating three big meals a day. I think that eating like this can make it easier for your body to metabolize the food.

My aim for next week is to try and motivate myself more because although I want to shift this weight badly, there is no motivation for me to stick to my diet when that choccy biscuit is staring at me, calling my name!
So i have decided to dig out some old photos of when I felt at my best. In doing this I am hoping that I will think to myself, "see you can do it!"

Another motivation for my weight loss is definitely my holiday in June. I'm going away with the boyfriend for our first holiday and I want to feel good in a bikini! I really want to buy all of the outfits that I like without thinking, "that will show my flab". So this will defo be a key motivator!

What have you been doing to motivate yourself? Let me know!

See you soon guys!

Wish List #1

I haven't been blogging a lot this past week and that is, unfortunately, due to my lack of a wifi connection. To my dismay my internet has spontaneously stopped working so I have been unable to post as much as I would like to.

To make up for my lack of posts, I have decided to do my first Wish List.

Like any items from my wish list? What's on your wish list?

See you soon guys!

Weight Loss Wednesdays #2

The past week was my first week doing WLW and I think it helped motivate me quite a bit.
In a weigh in this morning I found that I have lost 3lbs.
Although I didn't reach my target weight loss I am still please with my result.

So now I'm going to share with you what I have been doing this week in order to lose the weight and what I'm going to change in order to lose more.

For breakfast, a lot of bloggers say that they eat a bowl of Special K, so this is what I tried this week. I have about 30g of cereal with semi-skimmed milk and I think this helped cut out a lot of sugar and some fat out of my diet as before I was eating cereals like coco pops!

For my lunches I have been trying to eat more salads because before I wouldn't even go near one! My mum suggested that I try a salad that she made up one day out of her favourite healthy stuff. I did and I love it!
It's made up of cuscus, cucumber, sweet corn and then you can add anything you like; tomatoes, chicken, tuna, etc.

For my dinners I try to keep to a 600cal limit which I sometimes don't even reach! One of the best healthy dinners for me is jacket potato with beans and salad.

For next week I'm going to try to add some exercise into my routine as I didn't have the time this week so I'm hoping to lose a bit more.

I'm going to set my goal for next week as an optimistic 4lbs because I believe I can do it!

Don't forget to follow my blog so that you can get updated on my Weight Loss Wednesdays and all the other stuff I chat about!

See you soon guys!

Weight Loss Wednesdays #1

I was reading some of the blogs I follow when I came across Jennifer, from Barely There Beauty, and her Weight Loss Wednesdays bloggers group.  This is a great idea for people who can join and motivate each other on their weight loss and fitness journey. To join just visit her blog for more details.

BarelyThereBeauty

Recently I have lacked the motivation to lose my flab which is why I joined Weight Loss Wednesday. Today is a new day where I start my weight loss journey. I'm going to post my favourite healthy meals and exercises as well as weight loss tips. I have a holiday booked in June and plan to look absolutely hot so I'm going to set an aim each week for the amount of weight I want to lose in that week.

By next wednesday I aim to lose 4lbs.
I'm hoping to lose more but lets see how it goes.

I plan to walk a lot more and do a lot more exercise. I don't like exercising so I'm going to look around and find a style of exercising that I enjoy. In my next #WLW post I will let you know what I've found.

So thats it for my first Weight Loss Wednesday post. Find out how my first week goes next wednesday!

See you soon guys!

Jewellery Favourites

I've recently organised all of my jewellery and found some real gems in my collection. Some that I have gained recently through christmas presents and some that I've had a while. I absolutely love wearing jewellery so I'm excited to share them with you! So lets get started...

First up is my sparkly diamond ring from Warren James. I got this from my mum for christmas and I just love it! I wear it everywhere (unless its a gold day!).

Next is my sparkly diamond bracelet from Warren James also (there was a sale on I'm guessing!). My boyfriend, John, got me this beautiful bracelet for my christmas present and I wear it whenever I dress up all fancy (I'm worried I'd break it if I wore it everyday because I am super clumsy!). I love how it sparkles in the light so I'm always showing it off. It also matches the ring my mum got me (I think they planned it!) which is great because I love matching sets. I just need a necklace to match and then I'm sorted!

So this Swarovski Star bracelet is super special to me because its from my mum on my 18th birthday. The reason this is so special is because when my mum handed it to me she said, "because you're my star" and I got all emotional! This bracelet also sparkles in the light and, if you haven't guessed already, I love sparkly things!

This is another one from my mum for christmas. She bought me this Crystal Star necklace to match the Swarovski bracelet so thats another beautiful set in my collection! I love this because when the light shines on the crystal it changes in colour which is so pretty. I can also wear this necklace with a lot of my other jewellery pieces so it gets a lot of use!

These pretty diamond stud earrings are another christmas present from my wonderful boyfriend. I love to wear these as everyday earrings as well as adding a little sparkle when dressing up.

Okay, so this one is super special and although it don't wear it a lot (because I'm so afraid of breaking it), this pearl necklace is definitely my favourite because it was my nan's. My nan gave it to my other nan before she passed away when I was too young to remember. My other nan recently gave me this necklace and I am so grateful that I can something of my nans and I will look after it forever.

Liked any of my jewellery? Have favourites in your collection?

See you soon guys!
